Positive: Breakfast (euro 35 pp) was excellent and in lovely Plein Air setting. Indoor pool good. Room a little awkwardly shaped but fine. Dinner at Brasserie excellent. Great parking with EV charging. Beautiful grounds to walk/sit in the shade..

Negative: Strange disconnect between reception staff who told us we would be escorted to our table from bar area (where there were no staff) and brasserie staff who took our order eventually in bar area then left us to wait long after table ready. Small fixable communication problem! Also at these restaurant prices, guys, please lose the charge of 7 euros per bottle of filtered tap water, you could jut add a tiny amount more on the food. It looks so petty..

Positive: Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. A very calming place, Breakfast was lovely - the pain au chocolat were homemade and to die for! 50mins drive too/ from Eurotunnel - lovely last night of our holiday treat.

Negative: Its expensive - as you'd expect for a hotel of that standard to be fair.

Positive: This is a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. The staff are professional and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, and with nice views. Dogs are allowed in the rooms but not restaurants, so we had room service. There is electric car charging and it’s an hour from the Eurotunnel, which is convenient.

Negative: It’s expensive, which is to be expected, but doesn’t go that extra mile to warrant the price overall.

Positive: Staff is very friendly and nice. Also very dog friendly.

Negative: We have stayed many times and the staff are very nice. They have changed to breakfast and I feel 35 is too expensive for what was on offer. There were small portions of ready made scrambled eggs that were dry. A few pieces of fish but no smoked salmon for example. Compared to other hotel breakfasts in this range I felt it wasn’t very good. I felt the cappuccino came from a machine and not hand made. The shower gel was empty and the tap in the shower didn’t work properly. It only ran hot water and it couldn’t be turned down. They have a new spa which unfortunately I couldn’t try as I didn’t have a bathing suit. Unfortunately they don’t have any for sale which I think would be a good idea.
