Positive: The wooden house gives a nordic feeling once you make your first step into the house and then of course the pellet heater and the hot tub adds to this feeling. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We only had to bring our own bedsheet and an extra winter blanket. The kitchen can use a smaller pan. It was a very quiet area but I think in the Summer it will be less quite since the house is located in a vacation houses park. Pascal, the owner, is a very friendly man. He was waiting for us at the house before we arrived. The hot tub wood fire was already started, we didn't have to do that ourselves.

Negative: Communication was not easy. The owner is French speaking. We didn't know much French unfortunately. We tried to communicate in Dutch and English, but we didn't get far with that with the owner. There was no explanation on how the pellet heater works, we had to figure that out on our own. Also the hot tub didn't get warm enough even after 4 hours of using wood fire. Only the surface got warm up to 34 °c but the middle and bottom was ice cold. I informed the owner about this problem the second day and he pointed to a circulation button that we didn't know about on the first day. To compensate, the owner offered a free extra night but we couldn't take the offer because of our commitments. Again communication was the main thing we didn't like much. Otherwise everything was pretty good and we enjoyed our stay at this lovely cosy house.
