Positive: Ms. Nicole is the caretaker and such a lovely lady; charming and very helpful and aims to please. This property is literally across the street from Omaha Beach - my wife and I are from the U.S. and used it as a home base to visit the entire Normandy area, including D-Day beaches and museums as well as Mont Saint Michel. This property is well stocked with everything you need including full kitchen, private parking, cozy bedrooms and living room. Grocery stores close by and major grocery shopping like Aldi and LIDL are 15 mins drive away. The home is clean, has private parking and is convenient and a great home base. I would highly recommend and we will definitely return.

Negative: We loved everything about the property; no complaints at all.

Summary: Great property to use as a home base for touring the Normandy Region; along with a fantastic host - Nicole.

Positive: Everything. Location, size, the living area, and we had the shared area to ourselves. The area felt very safe. The house wasn’t cluttered, and kitchen had whatever we needed. The sofas and beds were very comfortable, which is a huge bonus after a long day touring the area. Yard was very nice with chairs to sit outside. We stopped by the Aldi store near the train station in Caen to pick up some incidentals, but there are other stores and markets close to the house.

Negative: This isn’t a complaint. It would have been nice to have screens on the windows since there was a nice breeze some days, but that’s not what’s done in this area.

Summary: Wish we could have stayed longer.

Positive: The location is perfect and the property itself exceeded all our expectations. Nicole was a fabulous host and gave us excellent suggestions of places to eat and things to do. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

Positive: Nicole and her husband (the owners) were great. The place is actually two places connected by a common rec room that is shared. Everything was perfect. Sleeping accommodations and bathrooms met our needs. Kitchen and laundry was great. She even helped us with a restaurant reservation as soon as we got there. Walking distance to a few restaurants in the Saint Laurent Beach area.
