Positive: The owner Sanje and his family are very kind and caring hosts. The room was excellent for the price, very clean. Sanje also organized the safari and personally drove me to Sigiriya and Sri Magallena stupa in his tuk tuk, saving me the hassle of arranging everything myself. A special shout out to his young sons. It was really sweet of them to accompany me on the safari so that I didnt have to go alone :-) To top it all off, he is a professional chef and the meals he prepared were amazing.

Positive: When I arrived at Lavender Resort, I thought I would find just an accommodation where I could stay for a few days. Instead, I found a family and a host, Sanji, who welcomed me as one of their own. Staying at Lavender is convenient for countless reasons. The central location of Habarana makes it easy to reach Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla, and Minneriya National Park with short and easy trips. What truly made my stay special was Sanji’s availability and kindness: he organized every trip for me at the lowest possible prices, used his tuk-tuk to drive me around the area for a very cheap rate, arranged my bus transfer, and organized a perfect safari where I saw an incredible number of animals. He also prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day — the food was absolutely delicious! I can only recommend Lavender Resort: it will make your overnight stay and time in Sri Lanka simple, warm, and family-like. In addition, Sanji’s wife and children are wonderful — very respectful of your space, but always ready to talk and interact if you need anything. Go there, you won’t regret staying at Lavender Resort.
