Positive: Very clean with good facilities and as shown in the pictures. The staff are very accommodating. We were supposed to check out early before the breakfast would be open, but the hosts were gracious enough to make arrangements for an early breakfast.

Negative: The water supply is very salty (including the kitchen & shower). If you were unlucky enough like us to get to the property very late and with very limited water, you’ve to wait till the restaurant open to have any drinking water.

Positive: Nice, comfortable, quiet and clean 2BR, 2BA condo situated in a small village in the hills above Kusadasi. One bedroom had a queen bed and a balcony with a direct view of the hills and of the ocean off to the left. The spacious living room had floor to ceiling glass doors to a large balcony with a beautiful view of the hills and Aegean sea and coast about a mile away. It had all necessary amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen (except that we had to request a microwave, which was old but worked) and two TVs, one in the living room and another in the bedroom next to the living room. The back bedroom had 2 twin beds and a sliding glass door view of some tall bushes separating us from the onsite restaurant, which we ate at once and found to be very good. The property managers speak English and were very nice. We had housekeeping service once during our 2 week stay which was sufficient.

Negative: We found Lavender Residence to be nice, but not the luxurious residence we had been led to expect by the website. The facility is a little worn down. While the outdoor pools look fabulous, the indoor pool smelled bad. The dishwasher was ancient and tilted forward when we opened it. The gym is not usable. It was dusty, and dirty. One of the two frail treadmills ran so unevenly it was dangerous. The couch in the living room was small and not very comfortable. The tap water is slightly salty, which is fine for showers, washing dishes and brushing teeth, but not ideal. One day it rained quite hard and the floor in the back bedroom with the 2 twin beds got wet - not sure how it got in, but we found ourselves walking in puddles. The last 1/2 mile of road to the property is rough - narrow, unevenly paved, which caused us some concern when we first arrived. A car is a must if staying here as it is a remote location, far from shopping and any other activities. There was construction on the property below which caused some noise and fumes on occasion.

Negative: I think it is important to tell customers, when they book… they have no view if they stay in the appartement below the swimming pool. It does not look as advertised ito view.
