Positive: I loved the cottage and area.

Negative: I tried,with great difficulty with different passwords in visitors book etc but couldn't get internet.I did ring somebody who forwarded a password,but no joy. Consequently,I had no internet atall through out my stay.I couldn't let my son's know that I arrived safely.I then had to drive out to find an internet link,to eventually let them know.

Summary: Apart from no internet acssess stay was ok

Positive: This is a beautiful cottage on a working farm.The cottage is in a fantastic location, perfectly furnished,very comfortable , well equipped and we were also treated with some very welcome extras including wine and fresh flowers. There is also access to public transport (bus service to Dronfield and Chesterfield) just down the lane(nearest stop is Millthorpe).

Negative: Unfortunately there was no working WiFi in the cottage when we stayed.

Positive: The cottage was clean and felt like home , lovely modern kitchen area and loads of space inside.

Negative: Well my hubby as walking issues and uses sticks the living area was great and space to move round inside but outside was a hazard as I looked at the only outside picture and assumed the front door would be on same level but there steps up to the front door on the other side of the cottage and loose stones which looked beautiful but a hazard to anyone with walking issues.

Summary: Great place to stay when exploring the area every you and in a lovely setting

Positive: I don't normally leave reviews, but this stunning cottage deserves praise. Beautifully furnished, spacious and lovingly restored. We had a wonderful weekend here. Couldn't recommend it highly enough

Positive: Perfect location for peak district and motorway. Beautiful surroundings in a working farm. Amazing cottage with high beams. Cosy bed, lovely bathroom. It was perfect. A little expensive. However I did stay during Christmas and boxing day. So the price reflected the time of year. The only thing I would add (which won't even both most people staying in that area) would be having a smart tv. Although if I had known, I could have taken my smart box. I mention this only due to being very unwell whilst I was there. And actually ended up having to stay in when I was expecting to be with my family all the time. I am disabled, parking was easy. I wouldn't say it would be a place to stay if you relied completely on a wheelchair. Other than that I would even say it's pretty disabled friendly. The one last thing I would say is that its nit pet friendly. I don't understand why. It's a working farm with cows and horses and dogs. And easy to clean the tiled floors. Although the hostess was excellent when she realised I did indeed have a dog. Snd was given special permission to take her. Although I never allowed her into the bedroom where the carpets where. Fabulous place. Will stay again. Many thank

Positive: A lovely peaceful cottage in a great location for exploring the Peak District. Amenities were good. Warm and comfortable. Situated in a quiet village with easy access to Bakewell and Hope Valley. Just 4 miles down the road is the park and ride rail station which we went to Sheffield for the day, great city to explore.

Positive: Central to attractions, allot of space and very clean. The farm was a bonus and the pub is easy walking distance and good food and drinks.
