Positive: Las Rocas was centrally located in Vega de Valcarce. It was very clean and was right next to the river with a seating area just for hotel guests. Our host was very friendly and efficient.

Negative: There is only one restaurant in Vega de Valcarce, the wonderful Restaurante Arroceria Espanol. As there are no cooking facilities in Las Rocas, that is quite limiting.

Positive: Very nice welcome, cute room, comfortable bed. Lovely small balcony overlooking the river. The shower was difficult to use. No warning that there would be no food available anywhere in the town. Although it is a large village with two banks, pharmacy etc - no restaurants or bars at all. Be sure to bring food if staying here.
