Summary: Lattice headboard needs dusting. Drapes need to be cleaned when fireplace is not in use. Otherwise, a fresh coat of paint on cabinets and trim would spruce

Summary: We stayed at Las Palomas 3 nights last week. We had a good stay in a one bedroom Casita. Our #14 casita was spacious in an adobe in a shady grouping of casitas. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the casita was very clean, good AC, the decor was dated and a bit funky for my tastes. We try to stay in hotels or Airbnb properties that "feel" like the area we are visiting with a good location; not a standard hotel room. My biggest complaint was how dark it was inside; this could be because the windows were few and small, property was shady, lamps had dark shades, it was an older structure with no overhead lighting except the dim fan. All the units seem to be different so maybe it was just our casita. Our kitchen was small and the microwave didn't work. We enjoyed our breakfasts at the on-site dining room and went out for dinner anyway -all short walks! The included breakfast, location and staff were amazing! I have never encountered such happy staff who seemed to enjoy working and serving their guests.

Summary: Absolutely enjoyed the morning breakfast, great location. Room was quiet and private, missed a larger TV screen but other than that it was a fantastic stay!

Summary: We loved Las Palomas! The rooms and shared spaces were charming and there is some great art in the courtyard. We were greeted with a frozen lemonade when we arrived, an unexpected but lovely gesture, and the complimentary breakfast was more like a restaurant meal than the usual hotel buffet. The location is an easy walk to the Plaza and other attractions. I think we’ve got a new favorite Santa Fe stay.
