Summary: This is a great hotel! Clean, comfortable and with great character. Make sure to contact the owners beforehand, they aren’t always in the office. You’ll recognize the place from the retro neon sign.

Summary: Stayed at the Lariat Hotel recently and would definitely stay again when in town. It’s an older property, but very clean, comfortable, and well kept. The staff went above and beyond to help with a last-minute request, which was greatly appreciated. They also gave excellent recommendations for local places to eat — especially helpful in a smaller town where options can be limited. Overall, a very pleasant stay with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Summary: The room was on the cozy side, but very comfortable. I slept like a rock. I was late getting there, but they called and let me know where my key would be (there was a gap in overnight coverage), and it was right where they said it was. My only other concern was that you really have to make sure your door is closed. The rooms still use old school keys. Overall, a very positive experience and I would stay again.

Summary: I stayed at the Lariat Motel for two nights. The room was so comfortable and clean. It was furnished with a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, electric tea pot (coffee and tea provided), complimentary bath products, nice television and wifi. In addition to a great room, the outside is gorgeous with flowers, benches and a fenced courtyard. Then when you think it can't get better, the owners are so nice. It was a great place to stay and I would prefer the Lariat Motel over a big chain any day!! Stay there - you won't be sorry!
