Large, sunny studio located in log home. Did you know that Stanley is now part of first Dark Sky Reserve in the United States? Enjoy the views from this comfortable studio apartment.
The Studio is on the second floor and an exterior staircase leads to the private entrance. One queen-sized bed, a futon couch and plenty of space to hang out and relax. Full bathroom with tub, small but user friendly kitchenette with two burner stove, microwave, plenty of dish ware /cookware and a small refrigerator. Three large closets for gear and plenty of space on the property for bikes or boats. All linens provided. The studio sleeps four comfortably.
Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11AM.
The studio is a stand-alone unit - you have your own staircase and entrance separate from the main home. The main home is occupied by the owners. The studio is a separate unit and the rental of the studio does not include access to the back deck and grill, front porch, fire pit, basketball area or the yard. There is a fishing easement along Valley Creek in the back and studio guests are encouraged to fish from the property or check out the Valley Creek Preserve on the other side of the creek.

Summary: We enjoyed the location of this VRbo next to the river and within walking distance of places in Stanley. The property was clean and well maintained with good supplies in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

Summary: My family stayed a couple nights in Stanley and we were pleased with the rental we stayed at. Easy check in, good communication with hosts, great location to restaurants, and the creek offered a nice backdrop to our stay. I do wish there was creek access from the property. You could walk down a bit from the property and get in but it wasn't convenient and we weren't sure if we were in someone else's property so we didn't venture too far. My boys would've loved to splash in the creek. We stayed busy with other things in Stanley though so it wasn't a big deal. I did notice the rip in the screen and the holes in the bath tub, as the other review did mention. I had hoped that the owners would've taken care of those things but no deal. It was fine ...as we were not looking for 5 star accommodations. It worked well for what we needed. A couple of perks were the basketball hoop in the front and the two camping chairs provided, assumingly for hanging near the creek. We didn't use either but thought those were fun things to have.

Summary: This place was perfect for myself and 2 friends. 2 of us slept on the futon, the other in the bed. The kitchenette was just big enough for doing some light cooking and the views out each side of the home were lovely. There was another airbnb below us and they were super nice as well. Easily walkable to things in Stanley and beautiful creek in the back.

Summary: Needs screens on the windows. There's a split (hole) in the bottom of the fiberglass tub and it feels spongy when you stand on it. Furnishings are tired and old.
