Summary: Host is a great communicator. Pool is wonderful. Views are beautiful. Home is spacious for our family of 12. Comfortable and generously sized beds. Kitchen and dining room table is a nice functioning space. Close to marina.

Summary: We were looking for a place in close proximity to an event we were attending and the lake house allowed us the opportunity to get away as needed throughout the week. The home has recently been re-modeled. It is beautiful with great amenities and an open layout while maintaining a home-like feel. For much of the week, it was just two of us so we had more than enough room when friends stopped by. The views from all rooms are great and it was amazingly quiet at all hours - even when boats were on the lake or when the bridge was at its busiest. The cliffs are an impressive sight as were the multiple bald eagles circling. Since we weren't going directly home, the washer and dryer were a big plus. We're still unsure on the cable/dish/internet situation and, as ATT users, our service - including voice - was limited to the deck and sketchy at best. We bought a Verizon Jetpack for the week. The pricing and minimum-stay were definitely market-driven for the time of year. Our circumstances were unique, so it worked for us. The home is located on gravel roads, driving sensibly will keep your vehicle clean - however, you are at the mercy of others. The owner checked-in once to be sure everything was okay, plug the pool cleaner in for the night and add chemicals. There was a minor issue late in the week but a quick phone call took care of it with no worries. Will definitely consider again in the future.
