Summary: Our extended family group (2 families + grandparent+visiting friends) had a fabulous stay at Martin's holiday home. The children in our group loved the pool and spent hours in it, while the adults especially enjoyed breakfasts and dinners in the beautiful garden, all accompanied by the sound of fresh running water from the mountains. The many bedrooms are lovely and comfortable, the kitchen is large and a joy to cook in, and, again, the garden is idyllic. Martin himself is a fantastic host, kind and thoughtful, and he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. (He even pleasantly tolerated the children advising him to install a water park in the yard, an arcade in the house, etc. The adults did not agree with this advice.) The area has many attractions, including hikes, markets, beautiful nearby towns, vineyards, waterfalls, and more. A day trip to Collioures to swim in the Mediterranean was easy and fun, too. We did so many things in our two weeks, and Martin's historic hotel was the perfect home for us while we did them. We all highly recommend staying here and would ourselves love to do so again. Thank you, Martin!

Summary: Plenty of space and a well equipped property for our extended family of 24, covering 4 generations. Martin was very helpful in ensuring a ground floor room for my 92 year old mother who can't manage stairs. Everything was satisfactory. The property is an easy walking distance to shops and cafés. A very pleasant two weeks. Thank you Martin
