Positive: Excellent facilities, lovely decking for relaxing whilst family enjoyed fishing. Plenty of fish and lovely quiet location even with busy farmers nearby. Hosts were lovely, leaving fresh milk, specialist bread and chocolate biscuits. Really enjoyed our stay, thankyou

Positive: Location was beautiful caravan was so clean and fresh. The sunset was unexpected and made our bad day a whole lot better.

Positive: The setting was lovely with the lake, the woodland walk pathways, the fields. The lodge was very very clean, very comfortable and so well supplied. The owners were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to.

Negative: At first not having wi fi was a surprise. However in the end it was nice to be phone free while there.

Positive: Location was lovely and peaceful. The lake and the fishing was amazing. Facilities were clean and tidy. The plum bread left by the owner for us was delicious. Can't fault this little gem at all.

Positive: Loved our stay, loved to fish in a relaxed non hassle environment without all the strict fishery rules, just good housekeeping and proper fisherman's common sense. The piece and quite was great.The family loved it and the dog too lol and a nice big TV which is a brilliant addition missing in most accommodation... if you get chance book Lapwing lodge, you wont regret it..

Negative: A few silly or minor points would make Lapwing perfection if corrected.. No Wifi is a real pain at times, The gravel drive is a little unstable under foot and the path leading around the lake needs to go all the way around the lake and not just stop in middle of nowhere lol and the view from windows on the back side of the caravan show a bit of a mess from building of another cottage ongoing but these are just nitpicking and easily solved, as this really is a wonderful place to stay. we will be back for sure...

Summary: In short.. We as a family enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly A++
