Positive: Loved the location! As you approach it looks very grand in the large lawned gardens. Indoors the property is obviously very traditional and run by very passionate staff. The owner is a lovely host and produces a breakfast based on organic and vegetarian produce and all done with love and care.

Negative: Small towels and the shower could have been better.

Summary: A great experience- so please we booked!

Positive: The B&B’s hostess was very welcoming and kind. She gave us a little introduction and showed us the premisses. The room was clean and cosy and the bed comfortable. The room had a nice shower. Breakfast was perfect, eggs from happy hens, cake and jam made by Mareike, I think she bakes the bread herself too. We spent the evening reading and watching the sunset by the lake. A perfect stay!

Negative: Our stay was too short. Thats the only thing I didn’t like.

Summary: A perfect stay to end our summer holidays! Thank you Mareike for amazing memories!

Positive: If you want to experience a slice of life in rural Sweden—peaceful, relaxed, and authentic—book a space at Lappnäs. The landscape was stunning. There were many places, inside and out, to chat while taking in the stunning landscape. You have beach access, and canoes and paddle boards were available. Host Mareika was over-the-top accommodating, preparing delicious, healthy breakfasts.

Negative: Absolutely nothing. We were gob-smacked at how much we felt at home so quickly.

Summary: It was a calming experience to be at Lappnäs.
