Positive: The staff were all lovely, but Cecilia on the reception desk stood out as one of the loveliest people I have ever met! So helpful and friendly. The food was exceptional, particularly the salmon soup and the amazing breakfast buffet - so much choice that we were full after trying everything we wanted. It was amazing being right next to the lake and able to go straight down for a swim after the sauna.
Negative: Nothing really negative to say. It's certainly not cheap, but we got the impression that nothing is cheap in Lapland so it wasn't unreasonable at all. The en suite in the hotel room was a little on the snug side but not a big problem. It also would have been nice if the sauna was heated a bit earlier in the day, but then if it was I might have spent the entire time in there and missed out on all the great stuff we did!
Summary: Not cheap but worth every penny

Positive: We took the apartment with sauna. Inside the hotel the sauna could be used until 21. In the apartment we could use it whenever and that made it perfect. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff was very nice and helpful. The apartment was very big, many beds. Beautiful view from the hotel
Negative: There was a bit of a smell in the apartment but that is usual if it is probably mostly used in the winter. Many mosquitoes outside

Positive: We stayed in one of the apartments, across the road. The apartment was a little older than the rooms in the main building but was well appointed and with 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and 1.5 bathroom, it fulfilled our needs (4 travellers). Restaurant and sauna were just across the road. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right on the edge of the lake and we could hire cross country skis to try it out. Would stay there again.

Negative: A touch expensive, especially the buffet. Communal areas to the rooms are a little tired, but still presentable. Our bathroom especially could benefit from a bit of a refresh
