3 Bedroom House in Myponga

Lapito House is a contemporary renovation of an old stone farmhouse in Myponga on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The property spans over 116 acres and borders with the Heysen Trail and Myponga National Park. Just an hours drive out of Adelaide, it is the perfect escape for couples, families and friends who want to relax, enjoy and explore the Australian bush.
Both John and Yvonne and their three children planted around 4000 local eucalyptus and acacia trees around the property. Today, the land is in better condition in both built form and landscape than it has ever been.
Being designers, they wanted to create something unique, adding their own textiles, restored furniture and a collection of artwork to create the feel of a 'mini museum' of contemporary art and design. Although the interior of the property has been transformed, the original stonework of the exterior has been left untouched.
It is the perfect getaway to escape and unwind. Most importantly: pets are welcome.

Summary: An ideal escape. An easy drive from Adelaide and yet blissfully a world away. Gorgeous home, sweeping views that you could gaze at for days and those beautiful roos bounding through. A great place for the family to explore and perfects base to enjoy the gorgeous southern beaches. We can't wait to go back.

Summary: I would highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to get away. Communication with the owner Pia was prompt and happy to answer any questions. Property was clean and had supplied everything we need to make it a comfortable stay. Close by to many attractions including Myponga Reserve.

Summary: This was our second stay at Lapito House and just as wonderful as our first! You just can't beat those views and the warmth of the wood fire on a cold and rainy day. Our dogs Willow & Winston had a great time too. We only wish we had stayed longer. Looking forward to staying again!!
