Positive: Really enjoyed the stay there. Loved homemade honey and jam, and fresh figs. Small but functional and well thought out layout was much better than pictures posted. Everything you need and more. Also appreciate bread, milk and butter in the fridge.

Positive: I recently stayed at Val and Merle's treehouse with my daughter for two weeks, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. Val and Merle went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing us with helpful tips and taking excellent care of us. One of the highlights was when my daughter got to put on a bee suit and help Merle take care of the bees—an experience she will treasure forever. We were also treated to fresh vegetables from their garden and enjoyed delicious breakfasts that included homemade honey, marmalade, and cake. Everything was simply delightful. The treehouse itself is a unique and cozy retreat, surrounded by nature, and it provided the perfect setting for a peaceful and memorable getaway. Plus, the nearby beach is one of the most beautiful on Vancouver Island, making our stay even more special. I can't recommend staying here enough. Thank you, Val and Merle, for making our stay so special!

Positive: This is a really wonderful place to stay, an easy drive to either Nanaimo or Parksville. The unit is small but well equipped and the fresh vegetables, honey and jams that the owners provide are a wonderful touch. Highly recommended.
