Summary: This is a welcoming hotel staffed by friendly and obliging people. Our room was rather narrow but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. Breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection of cereals, pastries, etc. at the buffet. The basement bar is excellent and serves good food. The public areas are very attractive with many Georgian features and pictures. The only criticism I would make is that it was rather too warm for me. We kept our window open for the duration of our stay but we found the rest of the hotel very warm! It takes a good 20 minutes or so to walk into the centre but there is a bus stop about 200 yards along the road, which will take you to Dawson Street. The Lansdowne station on the DART light railway is also nearby.

Summary: Lansdowne feels more like family than a hotel stay. It is warm and welcoming . The staff are very friendly and I enjoyed meeting their pets. It is conveniently located within a breathtaking walk of the city center. Absolutley loved my time here.
