Summary: The staff are great and it’s a very unique and nice hotel, but there are some oversights I wouldn’t liked to have addressed: - there is scaffolding outside of some rooms, giving workers clear line of sight into the bathroom via the transom window, with no way to block the view. I don’t know how this isn’t a big problem with other guests. - this hotel got pretty warm at 18-24 outside, I wish it had some form of AC - the bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable I enjoyed it overall but most likely wouldn’t stay again

Summary: This is a lovely hotel and our first choice when visiting Bath. It is up hill and is an old building - squeaky floorboards etc. But that is more than compensated for by the beautiful building, peaceful surroundings, great beds and superb staff

Summary: As the crow flies, this hotel is close to everything. The only reason I could not give it five stars is its location on a steep hill. Staff were very helpful, the rooms and food were excellent, and Parking, although scarce could be found in the hotel parking lot if you arrive early enough.

Summary: Unfortunately our stay wasn’t very pleasant. I raised an issue regarding a potential ants nest and provided a short clip as evidence (the clip wasn’t amazing but had relevance). I asked to speak with management for a partial refund as whilst we felt safe and welcome, the cleanliness wasn’t provided. I have since been advised to speak with multiple people, all of which haven’t got me any further with the process. I thought my partial refund request was more than reasonable however I am yet to make any progress, being directed from person to person and feel fairly unsatisfied. It’s been just over two weeks :( hopefully things change soon.
