Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: the interior design is excellent and the spa room is breathtaking. we met Luca, the caretaker who was really kind and showed us around and gave us nice tips about restaurants and shops in the area.

Negative: the jacuzzi wasn’t heated and since we realised only at around 10/11pm, no one could come around to sort it. Luca, the caretaker was in contact with the owner and came in the morning to fix the temperature. It still took a few hours to reach an acceptable “jacuzzi temperature”, meaning that it was ready at around 11:30am, when we were about to leave. We were offered to stay a few hours more, which is okay but still didn’t really make the most out of it since we had to leave and had to get ready etc. I am sure that from this incident, the staff will always make sure that the jacuzzi is ready before each arrival, however I am disappointed because we booked this stay BECAUSE of the jacuzzi and we couldn’t use it. We also paid about €50 extra to use the Turkish Bath, it would have been nice if the owner offered to give the €50 (or a bit more) back as a gesture of goodwill to make up for the lack of attention in running the Jacuzzi. Despite this inconvenient, we still kind of enjoyed our stay and we hope to be able to come back one day.
