Positive: Our third visit. A fantastic property, packed with items of historical and local interest. Very welcoming atmosphere with extremely helpful staff. Laura upgraded our room free of charge by email even before arrival and we were provided toothpaste for free after forgetting ours. Great setting in lovely gardens with chickens roaming around and all manner of birds. Fantastic breakfast which you order on arrival and is freshly cooked. If you want a building full of character with nooks and crannies to explore, along with a peaceful getaway then this place is perfect. Will definitely return.

Positive: Warm welcome, beautiful setting, incredibly comfortable room with stunning views and perfect taste. A gem! Loved the way the breakfast order made sure there was no waste and all delicious ( even though I took the tomato ketchup to be apricot jam!) My boots got wet on a walk and were dried by the Aga and handed over to me the next morning.

Negative: Absolutely nothing. It was all wonderful

Positive: A lovely friendy welcome, staff are all extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and relaxing and finally the breakfast was cooked to perfection.

Positive: Paintings which depicted the history of the house. Staff and hosts were very welcoming , friendly and very hospitable.

Negative: Cold room when the heater temporarily went off. Ladybird type insects and flies on the ceiling

Positive: From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Nigel and made to feel at home. Robina had called to upgrade us to two twin rooms which was a great space and set-up. The surrounding grounds and nearby East Meon, West Meon and Petersfield were great to explore with the handy walking guides and restaurant recommendations. The bedrooms were really comfortable and the bathrooms, in particular the showers, were great. The breakfast the next day was lovely sat right by the window. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Cannot wait to come back and recommend to others.
