Positive: Lorna and Gordan were amazing hosts, very kind and nothing was too much trouble. They even did a special trip to get extra vegetarian food for my breakfast, which was absolutely delicious! .You would be hard pressed to find anything better. It was beautifully furnished and lovely and clean.

Positive: There's a reason for all the 5star reviews...because the Langhouse Castle B&B really is a class act. From the very warm welcome from hosts Lorna and Gordon, to the spacious room that exceeds every expectation with a bed to die for...to the sumptuous breakfast with such amazing choice and produce ... I could go on. Everything you could ever need has been provided (especially loved the upscale hairdryer!). The perfect end to our momentous Highlands trip.

Negative: That we couldn't stay for longer!! Thank you, Lorna and Gordon, for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Positive: Very comfortable bed, good choice of complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits in room, very good wardrobe space with plenty of hangers, good bedside reading lights, plenty of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in bathroom. Lots of choice for breakfast, both continental and cooked. Lovely views from both bedroom and breakfast room.

Negative: Minor points :- For ourselves the 15.5 tog duvet was a bit warm. There was nothing on the shower knobs to indicate what did what, the water from the shower tended to spread into bathroom and a shelf in the bathroom would be handy for toilet bags etc.. Inside of the drawers was a bit dusty so had to give them a wipe.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at Langhouse Castle with Gordon and Lorna.

Positive: At first glance it was a basic bed and breakfast albeit you were staying in a Castle!! But upon closer inspection this is a very cleverly constructed package with a lot of attention to detail. Everything is laid on for you including a very substantial and delicious breakfast. But what makes The Langhouse Castle really stand out is the hospitality. The hosts are simply amazing. Warm and welcoming not to mention proactive in offering transport in inclement weather conditions. Truly outstanding.

Negative: There was nothing I didn’t like.
