Summary: This was our third time staying at the Landmark and undoubtedly our last. Location is terrific but that’s it. The walls are paper thin and the beds either have plastic sheeting or rubber on them. It’s terrible. The bed frames are falling apart and have sharp metal tabs sticking out that hurt. I took photos.

Summary: Like free parking, not sure how many choices there are in Marquette. Waited 45 minutes or more for dinner as they were busy and then got a call that kitchen would close and we were out of luck. Hotel stuff not helpful, fortunately Restaurant manager was able to accommodate and more diners and us were able to eat. Some others that got call that kitchen would close unhappily walked into town.

Summary: We have stayed here many times over the years and this was the most disappointing. First, Why should they use the cheapest (rubber) sheets on the bed? Just horrible, along with a bed that’s sagging terribly. Pretty third world and disgusting. We had a king room BTW. The so called breakfast was an empty pastry tray with only crumbs, at 9:00 am! The air handler was noisy. But the TV was working fine. Not worth $350.00 !!!! We’ve traveled back and forth between NYS and Mn now for 30 years so we make a point to stay at many locations and it’s sad to say we may have had our last stay at the Landmark

Summary: I had a 2 night stay during an unusal heat wave. The first evening the air conditioning was loud and couldn't cool off the room. Upon notifying Leo at the front desk the next morning I was moved to a new room that was perfect. He was courteous and attentive to my concerns. The remainder of the stay was as expected. The onsite restaurant/bar is wonderful. Thank you Leo!

Summary: Front desk staff, 1st floor bar/restaurant and crows nest service was EXCELLENT. I found the sitting area across from reception to be depressing, dark and in need of a makeover. There were no lights turned on during the day for the days were stayed which made the reception area uninviting. I expected the hotel to be old but I did not expect it to be ill maintained. The pictures online did not match the hotel we found at all. Floors in reception could have used a good cleaning, they were dirty around the floor boards, the elevator was very stinky. There was no breakfast service offered which I found perplexing as the hotel was sold out for the July 4th holiday. The hotel provided hot coffee, tea, water and small store bought sweet rolls at the reception desk. The bar/restaurant on the first floor was to open at the regular time however when we showed up for lunch we were told there was no staff to support the opening and the bar finally opened several hours later. We moved to the Hampton Inn which was bright, clean and to the standard I would expect a hotel to offer their customer.

Summary: The room was clean and updated with cute décor. The bed was ok. The mattress would have been more comfortable with a pillow top or memory foam topper. We loved the top floor bar with views.
