The pool area is a highlight — calm, inviting, and with great service from the bar. Shoutout to the young guy working there — he’s friendly, dedicated, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. But what really makes this place special isn’t just the setting or the food — it’s the vibe. You can tell there’s real care behind it all, creating a space where you can properly switch off, relax, and enjoy the good stuff. Positive: Stunning location. Beautiful renovation. Cellar, Exposed brick work.

Negative: Accomodation and reception/restaurant disjointed. Arrival/check in area - unclear (when in a car) For a 1 year old 5 star resort - no cap ex has been invested to maintain the property, fixtures and fittings and furniture - eg. pool loungers all tired, broken. Condensation in windows in restaurant - water ingress Pillows to hard - uncomfortable. Wiring in bedroom 12 - poor. Bedside lamp flashes on and off independently - a mind of its own. Needed reception to come over and sort - had to get out of bed as wouldn’t go off at the switch. No shower gel or shampoo, conditioner, in the room on arrival - we had to ask.

Positive: In short: we liked everything! Amazing hotel, in the middle of the nature, the staff is super nice taking care of all details to make your stay the most pleasant and special as possible, they are extremely attentious. The breakfast is wonderful in a restaurant with amazing views, and you can enjoy the breakfast until a late hour. The place is very calm, very relaxing, wonderfull views, we really enjoyed our stay and recommend.

Positive: One of the kindest and most helpful staff we have ever encountered in a hotel. Everyone is very friendly and we had lots of conversations with the waiters, chefs, reception and manager about the local area, food and culture. Beautiful and peaceful countryside location. Don’t miss the divine breakfast and dinner in a converted barn with an amazing glass extension. We will definitely be back.
