Positive: We booked a Lakeview Deluxe with Balcony, the room was very spacious and comfortable and even included a bath. The whole compound is stunningly green and spacious. Decent size swimming pool overlooking the water, massage services and bike rental available on site.

Negative: Breakfast was decent but a bit repetitive, restaurant prices for lunch and dinner were really too high compared to local restaurants. There is not much around the hotel so a motorbike or car is recommended, taxis are available but may take long. There was some noise outside the hotel but I think we were just unlucky, overall it should be a quiet area.

Positive: So relaxing and beautiful environment. Staff were very kind, helpful and friendly.

Negative: Lack of options for food for vegans. No plant based milk so could not have hot beverage at breakfast Also aon a few occasions parteners food at restaurant came 10 minutes apart. Found food and drinks expensive. Ordered taxi into lampang town which cost 400 bhat on return got a taxi in lampang town back to hotel only cost 100 bhat. ?

Positive: The grounds of the hotel are truly gorgeous. It is very peaceful and the staff are helpful and attentive. It is the perfect place to relax and just enjoy the hotel

Negative: - the hotel is a bit too far from Lampang if your plan is to explore the city. Taxis and grabs don’t like to drive there to pick you up and will charge extra - having traveled extensively in Thailand, we feel the value for money is not good -we found the beds a bit too hard

Positive: The lodges are situated in a lovely woodland setting along side the main river running through Lampang. Very peaceful setting, enjoyable walk around the lake. Breakfast was a comprehensive selection of western and a Thai presented in a buffet style. Quality was good.

Negative: We stayed in room 55. The shower pressure and heat fluctuated so it was difficult to taken enjoyable shower and the water did not drain away very quickly.. The bed had a topper which did not fit the bed so had an uncomfortable night's sleep. Had to move the kettle In order to plug it in to a socket. Air conditioner was extremely noisy, probably needed servicing. We had a meal in the on-site restaurant. They were not able to supply our 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice, we had to settle for a 4th choice. In addition when it came to paying the bill they had charged for something that we did not receive. We were also not allowed a copy of the receipt (I had to take photo instead) Also be careful the amount shown on the menu is not what you pay, the bill included a service charge of 10% plus 7% tax.

Summary: Disappointed, we were expecting more.
