Summary: After booking, the host continued to ask for our ages, copies of our IDs and what our business was in the area. They even told us they would be watching us on camera entering and leaving the property and if they saw anyone else with us they would terminate the rental agreement. We have rented a 12,000,000 million dollar home in Hawaii with less hassle than this place. There was zero flexibility for check in. When we arrived, the house was not up to standards as far as cleanliness. Bugs on window sills. Spider webs in corners. Windows were so dirty you could not enjoy the "lakeview." Back patio was useless. Back door did not lock. There was a small dead snake in the bar sliding glass door. There were bugs, spiders and webs all over the outdoor furniture. No pads on furniture. Uneven pavers and unstable railings. There were ant hills all over pavers. It appeared nothing had been cleaned. It was impossible to enjoy the lakeview inside or out. Hot tub had the filters on the steps. Cover was horribly dirty. We didn't even attempt to open it. It appeared the furniture was all staged since the home is for sale. The master bed was the worst bed I have ever slept in. After all of this, they encouraged us to empty all garbage and start laundry and dishes. This house is not what is advertised.

Summary: Loved everything; the bar, the pool table, the size. Dissapointed the hot tub wasnt working and the deck needed some serious weed-pulling. Over all, an A experience. Would have booked for the fall but the price doubled

Summary: Property inside was OK. Clean and tidy but pretty basic. Beds were comfortable. Outside was unusable. Furniture dirty and scattered about a bit and broken down looking. Overgrown weeds all over the deck. Dirty windows looking out on deck didn't help. The lawn care came to mow and weed the terrace on Saturday at 5pm during our stay. Since we were only there to attend a wedding it didn't matter much but would have been a huge problem if we actually wanted to use the property for a gathering. The initial booking process was also a bit extreme with a lot of back and forth with the booking manager. I felt like they must have had some bad tenants in the past. Seemed like extreme rules that no one can enter the property without prior approval. So our son who was getting married can not stop by before the wedding?? What about a delivery person? No parties or extra guests sleeping over would have been enough. Or maybe a limit of no more than 2 to 4 people stopping by, since we were visiting people who lived in the area it would have been a problem if we had wanted to have a cook out on the terrace and invite our son and daughter over. A little too restrictive if you are looking to enjoy the home.
