Summary: Very nice antique hotel from the 1880’s. It’s really charming and in a central location to downtown. Easy to find restaurants, and the morning breakfast was really good and not crazy expensive.

Summary: We got a suite with a sitting room. While the bedroom was lovely, the sitting room was small and dark and only had a sad little old twin size fold out sofa thing plus a couple hard side chairs. A proper sofa and lounge chair would have been a better choice.

Summary: Room was not ready when we arrived. Then, given wrong room. Had booked suite. Finally got a suite. Hotel has no elevator. No luggage carts. No assistance with bags. Key to room did not work. Repeatedly.

Summary: Very disappointed with the quality of service and top of that found roaches in the room. Not a quality place ! Once told to the receptionist about the pest in the room her answer was “ you are in Florida”. And we told her we live in Florida and we don’t have roaches crawling in our property Never again to this place

Summary: If your expecting a normal hotel room then this is not it. Our room was run down and was in need of a serious upgrade!! I would have giving this hotel a 1 star but the bed was actually comfortable. Other than that the room was a dump! Very disappointed. We went with 13 other friends and they all felt the same. The pool was filthy with bugs and grass. Ice machines were either broke or totally out.

Summary: The location is perfect, right on the lake and by down town center, shops and great eating places. Pool overlooking the lake 👍. Very peaceful. Only negative, windows need cleaning so you can enjoy the view.

Summary: The hotel dates back to 1883 and there is only so much that can be upgraded. The floor above us squeak with every step of our neighbor. The ice maker was out of order and looking at the sign it had been. There are no refrigerators in the room. There were three sets of landings/stairs to reach the room. I respect the history and if you're into nostalgia this may be the place for you. BTW, breakfast was very good as well as the service in the bar.

Summary: It's nice for what it is. Great history, breathtaking photo opportunities and just steps away from downtown dining. Cons : Very small room, no microwave or coffee maker (yes there is a restaurant on sight, but not having a mini fridge for my medication was a huge negative) The ice maker not working and having to walk to the office for ice (which is across the street in another building ) is extremely inconvenient. Pros: plenty of parking, location have food you can walk to, lots of history, not bad for the price
