Positive: Food was good but little expansive. Room was good but small. Staff was very cooperative. Location was very good and convenient. Market was very near. Natural surroundings were comfortable and peaceful.

Negative: Food charges should be little less. Room should be little big or rent/room charge should be relatively less.

Positive: Nights at Lakeside are peaceful and relaxing after seeing the sunset from the dock. I was traveling alone and Latif arranged everything that I need or wanted to visit during my stay there inside and outside the property. Mymoona, his wife is an amazing traditional chef that offers to guests the opportunity to taste topical Kashmir food. My experience was a beautiful location in an amazing lakescape managed by a very warm family. Highly recommended place to stay!

Positive: If you are a sucker for lakes, serenity and heartfelt hospitality, this stay will not disappoint you. It's a one- of- a-kind homestay by the side of Nigeen lake that has rooms built partly on land and partly on water. Grandeur is not seen in the infrastructure or luxury services but in the care and goodwill of the owners who live in the rooms next to guests. The shikara they offer goes till the Dal lake, starting from Nigeen lake, giving a good 2 hour ride through beautiful waterscapes with lotus leaves and ducks around. For our family, I couldn't have found anything more perfect! (Month of visit - October)

Negative: Some people might find it deterrent in it being away from the city centre/Dal lake.
