Positive: Beautiful location and surrounding gardens, Lovely and quiet - you could hear the birds singing, geese and pheasants honking etc. A lovely well equipped little cottage to stay in.

Negative: Only one small issue.

Positive: Prime location. Immaculately clean. Beautiful surroundings. Nostalgic. Warm and relaxing

Negative: Needs a proper dining table of some sort like the spare lounge area. Impossible for a family to eat a large home cooked meal off a 2 seat breakfast bar. No hair dryer. No basic egg slice for frying pan which was a pain. Main bed stunning but very sagging mattress. Covid is over. Let’s get back to earlier check-ins. We were the only people on the village but denied earlier access even though driving from Southampton. Four pm is too late and it shouldn’t take six hours to clean a cottage. People lose a precious few hours on arrival

Positive: Luxurious accommodation. We did not see anyone - apart from a couple of gardeners and a lady cleaning other accommodation. So quiet - we had the whole estate to ourselves. Long walks in the woods and garden. Weather was perfect. Another time might be busy but we loved being there all by ourselves.

Negative: Nothing. But if there had been people in the accommodation nearby then I think we would not have had a quiet break.
