Our cottage is your perfect getaway! We are across the street from beautiful Lake Morse and a short 2 minute walk from downtown Cicero where you can enjoy lake life or visit one of their highly rated restaurants. We are also only 15 minutes away from Grand Park and Ruoff Music Center. Our space is inviting and cozy. We also have a great outdoor space where you can feel the breeze from the lake!

Summary: We rented this place to visit friends and family who live on the lake. It was a great place to stay within walking distance to their houses. Perfect for our family of 5 to stay with everything we needed to prepare meals and not impose on our hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We needed a last-minute place to stay over the Christmas holiday. Cara accepted our request and went the extra mile to ensure that our questions were answered and that our fluctuating check-in time would be accommodated. The property exceeded our expectations. It is tastefully decorated and has a welcoming, homey vibe. It was perfect for two adult couples. I would not recommend it for anyone who may have trouble carrying their luggage up the spiral staircase to the master BR suite. There were a few missing cookware items in the kitchen; however we notified Cara and have no doubt that they will be quickly replaced. We were especially delighted by small touches like quality paper products for the bathrooms & kitchen, thick towels for showering, and the electric fireplace heater. We highly recommend this property.

Summary: Can I add a sixth star? This spot was fantastic! We were in the area visiting family and needed a home base of our own. Communication with the owner Cara was great. This place felt just like home. It was equip with plenty of supplies, a newer clean grill, fire pit, and even a phone charger which my sister-in-law needed when hers malfunctioned. Anywhere you want to go in town is a short walk from this location. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Summary: Wake up on a quiet street to the sounds of birds chirping and insects quietly humming cheerfully! Take your morning coffee on the front porch to glimpse the water, or in the spacious backyard near the firepit! What an amazing use of space throughout—this cleverly-used layout makes this tiny-on the-outside cabin truly sumptuous on its interior! The decor is tastefully done throughout. Our only caution is the upstairs loft due to the spiral metal stair and watch-your-head spot on the way back down! The bedrooms are wonderfully cozy and relaxing! We love how every dollar spent is matched by the host’s business to provide relief funding toward those in housing crises!

Summary: I am so thankful we found this VRBO property for the week we were in Indiana for our daughters softball tourney at Grand Park. It was very cozy, clean and well stocked with the essentials. A favorite thing for us was that is was walking distance to The Boat House. We enjoyed walking there for a drink on the porch while listening to live music. Though not directly on the water, we still had a view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets. I’m not sure we’ll ever be back in Cicero, IN but if we were to come back, I’d want to stay here again.

Summary: Cara was truly wonderful to work with. I took two teenage boys to Arcadia for a dive camp and this house was the most perfect location; half way between the indoor & outdoor facilities. The house itself had absolutely everything we needed and was quite comfortable; beds, pillows, AC (even on 100 degree days), sofa, kitchen was well stocked, even the towels were quite nice and plentiful. We travelled light because we were flying so being able to use a full size washer and dryer was great; Cara even had detergent there. She’s truly thought of everything to make your stay away from home homey. We would definitely return without hesitation!! A+++

Summary: We loved staying at this cottage! It was a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance of great restaurants and bars! The house was absolutely stunning! I will say the spiral staircase wouldn’t be safe for kids as the rungs are far apart, but worked great for us! Cara was great to work with and helped when we needed to change our dates. We would definitely stay here again!!

Summary: This place is adorable. Supremely comfortable, clean and ideally located. Easy commute to Westfield for baseball. Easy walk to restaurants and ice cream! Loved it & hope to return.
