Summary: Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Lake House and highly recommend it. We were gathering for our daughter's wedding, and it was perfect--very clean comfortable, nicely furnished, and homey with everything we needed. We loved the neighborhood and walked around the lake often--this feature is a real plus. It's important to note that the house is near the Woodcroft trails that link to the Tobacco Trail. The location was close to shopping, restaurants, and my daughter's house in Chapel Hill. Finally, our host was very helpful and communicative. For our next family reunion, we will stay at the Lake House!!

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay another time when we are in the area. Everything was as stated in the posting. Having the whole house to ourselves was great. Quiet neighborhood readily accessible to main roads. Being able to take a walk around the lake (one mile in total) was an added bonus. Very satisfied!

Summary: We felt welcomed by the nice message left for us on the refrigerator. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. We particularly appreciated the labels put on light switches and drawers, which saved searching for items we needed! A great place to stay!

Summary: The house in a quiet neighborhood was perfect for our 3 week stay. Premier bedroom had a comfy king bed with nice bedding. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The favorite feature was having access to the walking paths around the pond. Also Easy access to I40 and downtown Durham, chapel hill areas.

Summary: Nice and very clean property. Property is very functional. We needed assistance with one of the television host came over immediately and took care of the matter. Home is a little dated but we would definitely rent again. The toilets are very low to the ground. These days toilets are higher. The main bathroom needs a water flow filter on the right sink to reduce water splash.
