This modern retreat is located just a short drive into Downtown Douglas and/or Downtown Saugatuck. Enjoy strolling Center Street and hitting all the restaurants and shops these quaint towns have to offer. From Douglas' famous antique shops to locally roasted coffee, jam and jelly shops. Saugatuck allows open container in the "social district" off Butler and Water Streets. Enjoy a beverage from one of the local watering holes and feel free to bring it with you as you walk the riverfront. Take a drive over to Oval Beach where the sand literally squeaks under your feet or head to the Saugatuck Dunes State Park for a super scenic hike through the dunes where the trees eventually open up to a view of Lake Michigan. Local wineries with tasting rooms are plentiful in the area just in case you were wanting to expand your knowledge or just experience something new.

While staying at an Upscale Lakeshore vacation home, you will enjoy nearby access to Lake Michigan and all the unsalted coast has to offer. Whether it’s spring, summer, fall and or winter, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Our rentals are equipped with all the basic cooking essentials you'll need for a seamless cooking experience. Including pots and pans, utensils, a wide array of spices and seasonings and more. All Upscale Lakeshore vacation rentals follow local and state tax rules. Your booking will include applicable taxes, a cleaning fee along with a safety and damage protection policy. We want to ensure the safety and security of our guests and properties. When you book a vacation home with us, you will be required to sign a rental agreement after booking along with completing a verification process. To complete the verification, you will be contacted via email and/or text message. Please be sure to complete this before your arrival, so we can confirm your reservation. Prior to booking, please reach out to us directly if you would like to see the rental agreement.

The pools are cleaned weekly by a professional local company. Upscale Lakeshore strives to maintain the pools in working condition for the enjoyment of our guests. Despite our best efforts, circumstances beyond our control, such as heater malfunctions, excessive debris from surrounding trees (a skimmer is provided onsite to assist with the nature debris), cloudy water, poor weather conditions, etc may occur. Please note that compensation will not be provided in such instances.

Please review our cancellation policy from our rental agreement below as our cancellation policy varies ever so slightly from those on some booking platforms. Our rental agreement is included prior to completing your reservation and will supersede the cancellation policies listed on some booking sites.

Cancellation Policy: We hope you will not need to cancel your time away, but in the event that you do the following terms will apply. Please note there is a non-refundable credit card processing fee.

-100% refund (MINUS the non-refundable credit card processing fee) if you cancel within 30 days prior to check-in

-50% refund (MINUS the non-refundable credit card processing fee) if you cancel between 7 to 30 days prior to check-in

-No refund if you cancel within 7 days of check-in

We recommend securing travel insurance to protect your investment should you need to cancel your reservation outside of the allotted window or due to inclement weather or any other factor.
