Nestled in a serene cove on Lake Lancer, you will enjoy the newly updated rooms of this cozy lake front home shaded by mature pines, oak and cherry trees, giving you the feel of camping, but the luxury of all the amenities. This home is ideal for families looking for a relaxing, fun, getaway! In the safety of the cove, you will enjoy swimming in the “No Wake” zone, kayaking, paddle boating and relaxing on our 50 ft sandy beach! Once you enjoyed the day of #lakelife, return to our 20 foot party deck for a traditional "grill out" on our charcoal grill while watching the activities on Lake Lancer. Rather eat inside? No problem, you and 8 of your friends can eat in the comfort of air conditioning in the 4 seasons room with a beautiful lake view. As night falls, gather round the fire pit for a relaxing evening.
Additionally, inside, you will find three newly renovated bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first floor has a large family room and game area to play games or read a book on those lazy days. The kitchen is the original functional kitchen that includes a stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The laundry room consists of a washer and dryer for you to use too.
The home includes a 50 inch television in the master upstairs bedroom and a 32 inch television in the dining area.
So much is included for you to have a fun time. At least two adult kayaks, two children’s kayaks, canoe, 4 person commercial paddle boat, Cornhole, inside games and assorted life jackets included for use. Things you need to bring: your clothing, favorite toiletries, beach towels, charcoal and food/beverages. The garage is not available for use. Three security cameras are located on the outside of the house, one in the front of the property, two in the back of the home/property. Parking in driveway for up to 3 vehicles. This home is equipped with an automatic entire house back up generator in case of power outage. Please note our cancellation policy before booking. We recommend all guests purchase travel protection via VRBO.

Lake Lancer is an all sports lake, with a public boat launch, great for fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, etc. This property includes use of one side of a 20 foot dock in case you want to bring any of your water toys (April -October 15th). Please note paddle boat, kayaks and canoe are unavailable for use October 31th-April 1st unless prior arrangements are made and weather permits.
Community salt water pool and fitness center available year round for per person additional fee at facility.

Summary: The house is very clean and accurately described. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids and were very comfortable. Renee was very quick to respond and sent assistance as needed. Overall, we highly recommend this place.

Summary: This cabin was a great fit for our two families of 4 adults and 4 children. It has been updated throughout except for the kitchen which was still very clean and functional. Bed and bedrooms were tidy and comfortable. AC worked great. The deck was spacious and we used it daily. The sandy beach is nice, and the owners were kind enough to let us dock our pontoon at their dock. The cabin is in a cove of Lake Lancer, so you are not able to see a lot of the lake from the house. But there was still easy access to the main lake. There isn't a lot to do in the surrounding area, but I would definitley recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet vacation on a beautiful lake.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway at this property. We brought our own boat and that was all easy to navigate. The house was so clean-maybe cleaner than my own. Plenty of necessitates to get you started (tp, paper towel, hand soaps, and etc.). Linens and towels were great. Besides kitchen shears, everything you need to cook and bbq is in the kitchen. We had planned to go off-roading but had so much relaxing time in the water and playing games we never got around to it! We also enjoyed hours just sitting on the deck. We got ice cream every day from the corner store and ordered pizza from Larry's twice! We also went golfing for three days in a row, there's a great little courseclose by! We loved the big yard for cornhole and ladder ball championships. We even created a 7-station obstacle course, which was the envy of all the neighbors. I would highly recommend this property, there's not a ton of sun, but we floated right out into the quietest no-wake zone. It was a lovely week, thank you!!!

Summary: We had a great time. My husband, my two sons, daughter-in-law, and toddler grandson. We got immediate response from Renee to any questions we had during our stay. The house was very well stocked with anything we may have needed or forgotten. The tree shaded yard was definitely a plus on the hot summer days. This home is very kid friendly. The large sandy beach was wonderful for our grandson. There is a lock latch door on the deck which was great to have with a toddler running around. We enjoyed the quiet cove for kayaking. We loved the large dining area overlooking the lake and played cards or board games there most evenings at the large table. I enjoyed my morning walks in the nice quiet neighborhood. If you have a clear night sky while staying make sure to do some star watching. It was a beautiful show. We all had a wonderful stay.

Summary: The home is located in an idyllic lakeside community, tucked away in a serene cove, yet offering beautiful lake views. It was extremely quiet during our visit. We saw hardly any people in the neighboring homes and very few boats on the lake. Perhaps this is normal as it was not a holiday weekend. Of the neighbors we did see, they were very pleasant and friendly. The home is very welcoming and comfortable and the cleanliness was impeccable. The amenities are plentiful and are newer or in excellent condition. While possibly original and a little small, the kitchen is in good condition and is very well-appointed. The provided linens and towels were of good quality and ample. While highly subjective, we found that three of the five beds available during our stay were very comfortable. The queen and twin beds in the bedroom on the main floor are not the greatest (think pull-out couch bed, circa 1987). The provided pillows were very comfortable. The shower inserts were not my favorite. They are compact, especially upstairs, and very slippery. There are anti-slip stickers on the bottom but we ended up picking up our own tub mat on a trip into town. An easy solution. The bathrooms appear to have been newly renovated and were extremely clean. The massive hot water tank was wonderful and easily accommodated 6 consecutive showers! The back deck and yard were the highlight for our family. A large deck with table and chairs, dual propane and charcoal grill, and bistro lights create an incredibly relaxing ambiance. We saw deer in the mornings and evenings, a small fox, and an otter playing down by the dock. In the evenings, we enjoyed the fire pit down near the lake. The cove provides the perfect environment for the use of the provided kayaks, paddle boat, or swimming. The newer dock was more than able to accommodate the 22' pontoon we rented nearby. It is apparent that the host has put a lot of thought and consideration into equipping this house; every need is covered. They are very thoughtful and helpful, providing thorough details about the house/amenities, quickly responding to questions, and offering great recommendations. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to others. While the tranquility was exactly what we were looking for, I feel this area has the potential to be a little more active during a more popular time.
