Summary: Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies.

Summary: nice big patio door with awesome views of the lake and lots of wildlife..loved being able to use the woodburning stove. firewood was provided for the firepit. they have just about everything you need here if you forget something and the house was well stocked with supplies

Summary: We were looking for some down-time; a nice, quiet few days. This place delivered! The small lake was fantastic, the firepit was awesome, we used the rowboat (thank you!), and the home was equipped with almost everything we needed (while there was plenty of firewood on premise, it was wet wood, so we did buy dry wood in town).
