Summary: If you’re looking to decompress while enjoying the UP beauty this is the place. Situated right in the lower St Mary’s River, the freighter traffic was wonderful to watch from the deck, living room and bedrooms. The house is set up nicely, kitchen is perfect and it was a great gathering place. Enjoy the low rumble of the freighters and the dark sky filled with stars. The views of the nearby islands are great also. The home is nicely decorated with plenty of seating. Looking forward to a return trip!

Summary: Came to watch the freighters go past . Spent most of my life living on a lake port . Moved two years ago and miss them going past . The residence was secondary as I knew where the house was . Both the view and the house were above my expectations . I’ll be back next year ! And maybe the year after that !
