Summary: We rented this unit to be close to the Sheep and Wool Festival at the Duchess County Fairgrounds and this was just as described. Excellent communication throughout our stay, was nice to meet the owner right when we arrived. All the listing details were as described so be prepared to bring sheets, blankets, towels and would highly recommend getting a few gallons of filtered or distilled for brushing teeth, drinking, washing dishes, etc because (as described by the house) there's a VERY strong sulphur smell to the water. It lingers in the air. The place is quaint and perfect for a weekend when you've got sightseeing or events planned.

Summary: We had a great time staying at Ralph’s cabin (for the second year in a row!). The property is peaceful and the outdoor space is great. Ralph is good about warning you of what you’ll need to bring, so we felt completely prepared. Close to Kingston and New Platz, easy to get around.

Summary: Was amazingly surprised at how much I enjoyed this place. We had a slight issue after booking but it ended up working out smoothly. The issue can be chopped down to a vrbo error not a fault of the owner. The overall experience was fantastic and will definitely have to book again!

Summary: I booked a week here with my bf. We were looking for peace and quiet but this place was a few feet from the highway. It was very loud in the backyard and not the peaceful spot we were hoping for. There’s an open part of the fence if you want to walk through mud for a swim. There’s no dock. It wasn’t what we were looking for and we didn’t stay more than an hour. The owner did refund the cleaning and deposit but didn’t provided a refund on the week’s stay. That said, if you’re looking for a spot to pop in and out and enjoy the nature nearby, this is an affordable and close option.

Summary: I was hesitant to write the review, because I didn't want everyone to find out about this gem and not be able to get a future reservation! Communication right from the beginning making sure we knew how to get there. Cute little one bedroom that had character and love put into it. Anything we needed we just had to ask, and we were even able to take the boat out for a row and swim. The water is so warm in the summer. If there's only one critique I had for this place is the Mosquitoes weren't a welcome addition to our break away! ;)

Summary: First of all let me say Ralph was an excellent host! He was very friendly and very helpful on anything I needed or had trouble doing. The house was spotless it exceeded our expectations and more! I highly recommend this property my girlfriend and I will be back next summer for sure!
