We’ve just added the Pelican Place to our rental properties on the shores of Pickwick Lake! For almost a decade, we’ve happily hosted wonderful guests at The Three Gulls House and the Heron House, just a quarter mile away. Now we’ve added a third property which offers amazing year-round views of Pickwick Lake. It has a huge covered pier where fishing boats may be safely docked for extended stays and tournaments. A small channel runs just feet from the pier, making a fantastic spot for catching bass, catfish, perch and other lake fish. A driveway and concrete steps lead to the lake for convenience. We have a multi-layered deck near the waterfront with table and chairs and a grill for lakeside dining at its best, along with ideal conditions for star-gazing. The bird watching is unparalleled, offering frequent sightings of bald eagles, pelicans, herons, a variety of ducks and geese, along with other wildlife often seen wandering the lake shore.
The Pelican Place has a wonderful sunroom overlooking the lake with a twin bed for lovely afternoon naps. There’s an additional covered deck at the house, along with a covered porch that includes a gas grill. New appliances and a completely stocked kitchen with big pantry make it easy to stay long-term. The mattresses are new and comfortable, and bedrooms are roomy with closets and dressers for all your personal items.
