Large 3 story home, wooded yard with mountain feel, and a beautiful view of Jackson Lake. Three decks to lounge on and enjoy the scenery!
The upstairs has 2 master bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One master with a king bed, full bathroom, and garden tub. The second master with a queen bed and full bathroom.
Enter the main level of the home through the wrap-around front porch into a large living room with an electric reclining sectional sofa and recliner chair that comfortably seats 8, a big screen TV over a stone gas fireplace, and cathedral ceilings. Connected to the living room is the large kitchen with double ovens, granite countertops, a dishwasher, and a small table that seats 4. Adjacent to the living room and kitchen is the dining room with a large table that seats 10. The kitchen and dining room have lake views and access to the upper back deck. Also on this level is a queen size bedroom with deck access, a full bathroom and a laundry area with a washer and dryer.
The bottom level of the house has another large living room with a stone gas fireplace, a big-screen TV, a large table for playing games or crafting, two bedrooms with queen beds, a bonus room with a twin and trundle bed, and a half bathroom. Walk out the back onto another deck with a bar, small refrigerator, firepit, and plenty of seating.
Note: We do not have a dock but you can easily launch a kayak, canoe or paddle boat.

Summary: Great house for our family get together. House was very well furnished. This was probably the only rental I ever stayed at where the beds and pillows were super comfortable. It was the perfect place for our family!

Summary: We traveled from Minnesota and met our family who traveled from Florida for a Thanksgiving celebration. Our expectation of a comfortable place for the ten of us to prepare food and rest after exploring Georgia state parks was thoroughly fulfilled. One of the greatest components of the house is the dining room table where our whole family could gather together for meals. Everything we looked for to have a family gathering was fulfilled in this house. Scott is a very special host who was available and willing to answer any of our needs. Thank you Scott!!!

Summary: Property was not clean, shower downstairs was unusable which was a problem with 12 people in the house and the decks which were such a great part of the house had to be cleaned by us before we could even use them. We feel like the cleaning deposit should be returned to us, but the property manager won’t get back to me. It’s such a shame because this house is beautiful and has everything, it’s a little farther away from towns than we thought but the trade off for the location was worth it.

Summary: The property was an excellent choice. We will definitely stay at this property again. Plenty of room for probably up to 8 golfers although we had 4. Very responsive owner.

Summary: Our family Thanksgiving celebration was all the better because of our stay here at Lake Jackson. The home is designed to handle a crowd even when watching a movie. The kitchen had everything we needed… basic supplies and plenty of storage containers. The neighborhood did not lend itself to long walks but we enjoyed the outdoor areas of the home. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had. A totally delightful stay!
