Positive: The place and location were perfect for just staying and also a great a base for exploring lapland. Everything in the house was new and very clean and we didn't miss anything. The hosts where very friendly and helpful. We got to fish, bbq, see reindeers in the vincinity and even watch northern lights in late agust what in not that common.

Positive: The house is well equipped, functional and very clean. It is close to nearby attractions like the reindeer farm and husky tour. The sauna was a highlight. The surrounding lake and landscape is absolutely beautiful, it is very peaceful and quiet. The hosts were amazing, extremely helpful, friendly, and communicative even months before we visited. They were very accommodating and made our visit even more special. Note that if you are not hiring a car, taxis may take a little longer to get to the accommodation as it is off the main road.

Positive: Comfortable, clean and well equipped house with a family history that very nice owners are excited to share while cordially welcoming and guiding you through all the details of the place. Splendid views of the frozen lake invite to explore it walking with the snowshoes or sledges available on place. We would definitely recommend this accomodation and its hosts!

Positive: What a magical place! Everything was perfect: the house is beautiful and so is the location at the lake. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, you can see and feel they are paying attention to every detail in- and around the house to let you feel at home, just exeptional! We would highly recommend this place and we will definitely return in the future. Many thanks!

Positive: Everything! This place is a dream! It's so much fun to sled or toboggan down the little slopes. The whole family had the best time, made so many memories and laughed endlessly whilst going down the little slopes. The house is incredible, so spacious, warm, and full of everything you'll need for your Lappish escape! The owners are so so lovely and will help you with anything. It was the best experience and we will definitely be booking this again!

Positive: Loved it! Away from the touristic center but close enough to move around and visit the various attractions. Hosts, Jarmo and Saale, were warm and helpful before and during our stay. The cabin is perfectly stocked, clean, spacious and has history. The view across the lake is beautiful and quiet and had plenty of outdoor open areas for the kids to play in the snow, discover and experience a different setting all while we could sit and watch or join! Because of its location, away from Santa’s Village and on the lake facing North, we were able to see the Northern Lights clearly which was an added plus and Jarmo was kind enough to alert us and came out from his private residence to make sure we saw them. That said, the cabin is private and they are not intrusive, just present if need be. He even woke up super early to sand the road for us to leave to the airport on icy roads.Such a lovely couple and home! They helped us with finding activities such as husky and reindeer farms/rides that were, again, away from the bustle of tour groups and allowed us to learn and experience them without mania and actually connect and take our time. You can’t beat a husky ride on a frozen lake with the views around you with just 2 sleds and a couple on a snowmobile to get your action shots! Highly recommend!

Positive: Lake Sieri House was the most Wonderfull place in the middle of a forrest. We were 7 people in the house, and there were plenty space for all of us. There is a sauna in the house and it is placed perfektly if you want to go out and roll in the snow. It is the perfekt place to see the northern light, and we were lucky to see it the first night. The house is right beside a see. In winter time you can walk on it and right across it, there is a husky farm, that we also can highly recommend. There is also a reindeer farm right beside the house where you can book trips. 15 minuttes away by car you can also go alpine skiing. It takes about 20 minuttes by car to go to Rovaniemi centrum. The host are the sweetest, helpfull and friendly cuple, who stays in a house very near by. If we had any questions they would answer right away. They also helped turn on the grill/barbeque in the little adorable grill house. We have only possitive things to say. Thank you for a perfekt stay.

Positive: Beautiful house and setting. Very clean and comfortable for all 8 of the family, warm all the time and Jarmo the host was very kind and helpful. The outdoor fire room was a bonus experience, as was being able to go out on the frozen lake. Not far from city and airport, the drive was fine and beautiful too

Positive: The cabin is about 108yrs old and while its renovated, it was extremely beautiful, spacious and really live up to its name as a Lake House. Both Jarmo and Saale are very accommodating and with geniunely warm hospitality. They take care of us and even showed us where we can quickly go to the city from the Lake House on a secret way just like a commoner 😁 We spent the Christmas Week in Lake Sieri and it was really a memorable experience. Our kids loved it and planning to come back and stay again in Jarmo and Saale's house. We even exchanges dinner and loved Saale's roast pork and Jarmo's goodbye gift - raindeer sausages! 🦌 If anyone wanted to visit Rovaniemi, regardless if you are just a couple, group of friends or family, we higly recommend Lake Sieri House 👌 worth every penny! And you can trust Jarmo and Saale to take care of you while in Lapland. Its like visiting your family in one of the world's magical places! ❤️
