Summary: Our child attends USC and we wanted to rent a home nearby and then go to the football game on Saturday. This home was perfect less than an hour away from USC. 30 minutes from great antiquing and several spas. With 3 generations under 1 roof, this home provided us 3 different levels to spread out. Enjoyed the porch, fire pit, and unbelieveable sunsets. Owners sent texts prior to our arrival to make sure we knew the ins and outs of the home. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Summary: This property is in a great location on the Saluda River / Lake Murray. The property was fantastic for water activities. The sunsets were beautiful. The house was clean and had all the necessary equipment and supplies. Steven, the owner was very helpful with his tidbits of information. We would certainly consider this location for future vacations.

Summary: We had a great time at Sunset Serenade and were welcomed with a sweet package and personal note to set the tone for our daughter’s graduation celebration weekend. We had a large group with mix of ages and the layout of the house was perfect for that. The location of the house to the water was very convenient for swimming and loading/unloading from dock. The property was overall a bit cumbersome to get to so we made sure to have everything before we got there. I would definitely recommend a bigger and/or second refrigerator and coffee pot (only 5 cups), as well as more room to place trash, especially for families staying a week. There were a few issues during our stay that Steven was very attentive to, but overall it was very memorable!

Summary: Steve, the owner, was an attentive host. We felt a warm welcome when we entered the house. The home and property are as listed. Each bedroom is attractive. The kitchen is supplied, so meals can be cooked for a family. The washer and dryer are new. There is a Mr.Coffee maker, a small french press, and a coffee grinder. There is a lovely living room upstairs and another one downstairs. It enabled the adults to talk in the evening and the kids to watch a movie downstairs. The sunsets are beautiful. The screened in porch is a great place to view the lake. We used the gas grill and fire pit during our stay. We fished off the dock. The kids swam in the lake. Columbia is 50 minutes away. Dreher Island State Park is 20 minutes away. There are 2 rental places on the lake. You can also inquire about renting Steve's boat for a week.

Summary: Booked this stay with a group on 12 ages ranging from 11-50 and we had a blast! House is BEAUTIFUL and the sunsets are unbeatable. Plenty of room in the house. Had washer/dryer. Beds were a little uncomfortable but we managed. Dock is great for fishing and we rented a boat to dock overnight. Steven was such a great host from check in to check out. Would stay here again 100%. Closest grocery is 30 min away, so plan for a long drive and pack smart but if you are looking for a quiet vacation to disconnect- this is the place!
