Welcome to Lake Escape’s Sunny Daze! This fully renovated lakefront home on Lake Norman is the perfect spot for you to bring your family and friends to experience the beauty and adventure of the lake while having all of the comforts and conveniences of a fully stocked home. Whether you are enjoying a meal at the large dining table, relaxing on the enclosed porch, playing in the huge gameroom, relaxing by the firepit or floating in the lake from your private dock... this home will be your oasis for the entirety of your stay.
The open concept great room combines the living room and dining area with the kitchen just off to the side. Stream on the 65” TV while enjoying the gas fireplace. Whip up your favorite meals in the fully stocked kitchen. It is fully equipped with quality pots, pans, flatware, dishes, serving ware, utensils and small appliances. You’ll also find a Keurig with all of the coffee and accouterments you’ll need. (A standard coffee pot is also provided.)
Straight out the back is the enclosed porch. Lots of seating for everyone to relax and decompress while your grill master cooks up some dinner on the propane grill.
On this main level are 3 of the bedrooms. The master has a king bed and en suite bathroom with a large stall shower, double vanity and dedicated make-up area. The 2 other bedrooms on this level feature Queen beds with high end mattresses and bedding. All of the bedrooms feature ceiling fans, lamps, Amazon echo alarm clocks, and power points on the night tables. The hall bathroom provides a tub/shower and services the 2 guest bedrooms along with the living area. Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and all of the fluffy towels you could need.
Downstairs is the large gameroom with a 65” TV and all of the board games you could want. It also features ping pong, pop-a-shot basketball, skeeball, pinball and arcade games. There is a desk and a large sectional with a pullout sofa. This sofa bed is a full size and sleeps 2 guests.
Also on this lower level is the 4th bedroom. This bedroom features a Queen bed and an XL Twin. The full bathroom with tub/shower serves this lower level.
Out the back you’ll find the expansive lawn where you can enjoy all of the lawn games and toys that are provided. Head down to the lake and sit by the firepit with our complimentary firewood or head to the private dock to jump in the lake or set out for a ride in your boat.
Here you’ll also find all of the lake toys! There are 4 kayaks, 2 SUPs and life jackets all included!

Summary: We had an amazing stay at Sunny Daze! It was the perfect setup and location right on the lake for our large group. The house is immaculate, has everything you need (and is high quality as well, a rarity I’ve found at vacation rentals!) and was very comfortable with room for everyone. The spot on the lake is tucked away in an alcove of sorts so it was mostly quiet for us to enjoy all on our own. We also appreciated having floaties, kayaks and paddle boards to use as well. Our group has already talked about coming back next year, highly recommend!

Summary: I have stayed at other properties managed by same folks and it was equally as good. The amenities are just as described and it is the perfect property for a large family get together or just enjoying private time on the lake. Kids and kids at heart will enjoy the games provided. Location was easy to get to and conveniently located to community amenities as well.

Summary: We've stayed at properties from the mountains to the coast for Christmas and this was by far the best! House was well stocked, location was excellent and view outstanding. We'll be looking to stay in the spring/summer to take advantage of the lake.

Summary: The house had lots of nice touches- coffee for the Keurig, some basic spices- the kitchen was very well equipped. We all enjoyed the fire pit, with a nice supply of firewood. The kids enjoyed the kayaks, and the game room was a big hit with them

Summary: Our trip to Sunny Daze was perfect. Wr had to make a fairly quick change in locations for a girl’s getaway as original plans had us meeting in Asheville and Helene struck. Very lucky that this property was available and perfectly fit our needs. The owners were great to work with and communication was top notch. The home itself was immaculate, comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen which is perfect for our group who lives to stay in to cook meals. The charging stations readily available throughout the house was great extra touch! The game room was fantastic and the amenities inside and outside were beyond what I would have expected. The grounds were lovely and we spent much of our time on the beautiful screened in back deck. Everything about this location was 10/10. I’m hoping to come back with my immediate family in the future. I highly recommend Sunny Daze.

Summary: We just ended our stay at Sunny Daze and already miss it! Can't ask for a better location - the cove it's situated on is quiet and easy to get out to the open water for days of fun! It's also just minutes to Harris Teeter, Dairi-O for ice cream, Big Daddy's, and so much more which was nice to not have to ride 20-30mins to get anywhere! More time for the lake! The house was a great setup for our group of 5; plenty of room to spread out and came with everything we needed to make us feel at home! Nicely decorated, clean, and lots of fun competition in the game room downstairs. The welcome guide you get to prepare for your trip is also super helpful too. We had no issues while we were there, which made it even more wonderful. Thank you Jess!
