COME ESCAPE AT THE LAKE!! With this 4 bed room 3 bathroom gem you can bring the whole family and have lots of fun!! Lake Greenwood is a special place for my wife and I. Our cozy lake home sits in the friendly neighborhood of Greenwood Shores. The home was newly renovated in 2021 with many thoughtful touches all around to help make your stay enjoyable. You can tan, swim, fish, build a fire or simply enjoy the views off of our dock. The house is less than two miles from a landing. The house has a nice back porch that is perfect for entertaining. We do have two cameras on the property for your protection only. Beautiful greenwood state park is only a 3 mile drive by car. There is biking trails with beautiful outside art and picnic areas!

Summary: We’ve been looking to purchase a home in Ninety Six and recognized the pictures of this one. It was a perfect location for us. The house was comfortable and fairly well appointed. Only 1 dish towel was provided but we had to leave a day early due to the hurricane and possibility of flooding. The remote for the main t was MIA and so we were unable to use it.Could have used a couple more coffee cups with some size rather than the dainty little ones. A rug by the front door would be nice since we had several downpours. Also bedside lamps in the bedrooms. All minor things in the overall scheme of things. Will definitely return in the near future unless we buy our own home in the meantime.

Summary: We had an amazing time. The property was nice and loved that the kids could get in the water where it was shallow. The house was nice. Owners need to come in and check to see what needs to be fix such as broken blinds, new broom would have been nice and someone had put a hole in the wall as you come in front door. A/C upstairs was awesome. Down stairs would reset in middle of night and kids got hot. Overall it was an amazing time. Also, it was a great neighborhood and I would recommend staying there.

Summary: While the location and communication with the owner was excellent, there were other things that needed some attention. As stated from previous reviews, the outside needs a good power wash. We were there in November and the bugs and cobwebs out front were pretty bad. Also, the ceiling fans had a year's worth of dust on them that I cleaned.

Summary: Pros: Has a Huge kitchen and a master bedroom that opens to back porch with seating and a gas grill. ( not sure if gas included as we did not use it) Beds downstairs were comfortable. There were plenty of extra supplies like coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, peanut butter, spices, towels, blankets, trash bags, and laundry detergent. Wifi worked perfectly. I booked this place bc of the size, firepit area, and lake. It was me, my 2 daughters and 5 of their friends. Cons: The 'lake' was dried up from the shore to the end of the long dock. Very unattractive. No charcoal or wood provided for the firepit but the lights worked. Urine (we think from a cat) smell on the floor in bathroom and on the queen mattress downstairs, spiderwebs on walls throughout. As women, when we turned onto the road to the house the neighborhood looked like it might be sketchy but we didn’t have any issues while there and the owner was immediately responsive when I texted him about the wifi password upon arriving. At half a grand for Friday 4 PM thru Sunday 10 AM I was very disappointed bc I wanted it to look special out by the lake. My daughter is getting married and she loves looking at the stars. Had I known it was a mud puddle I wouldn’t have chosen this rental.

Summary: The pictures of this property must be very old. House was extremely dirty and hasn’t been kept up. A mattress was soaking wet and it had to flipped over to be slept on. We would have found somewhere else to stay but we had my elderly grandmother and my handicapped aunt with us so it would have been very difficult to move them at that point. Property owner took a full day to respond to my messages and still offered no help. I should have believed the negative reviews that were already left about the property. Please save yourself the trouble and just don’t stay here. It’s disgusting and the host doesn’t care.

Summary: Great location overlooking Lake Greenwood, close to Ninety Six and about 20-25 minutes from Greenwood. Plenty of room with 4 bedrooms, including 4 twin beds upstairs. We didn’t have time for the fire pit, but it looked very inviting with a beautiful view of the lake.
