Positive: Lovely hotel ( the back of the hotel is being updated but thus did not affect our stay st all) Very friendly and helpful staff Lovely pool with hot tub, steam room and jacuzzi are free to use. Delicious well presented breakfast, Alex the breakfast host was just was like our own tourist information centre, staff here are a credit to the establishment. Thankyou

Positive: Beautiful setting and good facilities. As a solo traveller it was a good place to be - I was given a free upgrade to a suite! Also has good public seating areas, and the pool etc is great for a wet day. The food was excellently cooked and presented tho the menu is quite ordinary. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

Negative: I dislike loud piped music in restaurants- it’s very intrusive.

Positive: Room was nice, spacious and comfortable and everything we needed. The complimentrary hot chocoalates went down a treat. Staff were all really lovely and helpful. The ammenities were great, the kids loved the swimming pool.

Negative: There was a slight smell in the bathroom. For a family of 5, it would have been good to have more rails to hang up wet towels aswell, especially with all the swim towels too.

Positive: Extremely able and friendly staff who dealt with any issues politely and promptly. Fantastic location in the lakes. Good food and leisure facilities.

Negative: As it’s built over several separate buildings, it’s a bit of a maze to walk around and the current upgrade is needed in parts of the building. These issues didn’t spoil our overall stay though.

Summary: Great location, good food, needing a little upgrading but the fantastic staff are the stars here.
