Positive: What an incredible property and location
Negative: You pay for the location, I didn't end up liking the room I booked in the out building and would pay to stay in the main building itself or the bungalows

Positive: It was a gorgeous property in the middle of the Olympic Peninsula. The main lobby of the lodge was really nice, with a big fire to sit by and enjoy drinks. We really liked walking out on the dock and around the various trails.
Negative: We excpected the rooms to be a little more rustic-decorated like the lobby. The only major problem was on Booking.com's side. Booking.com offered types of rooms that the property does not have, such as king sized beds.

Positive: Close to the lake, beds comfortable, restaurant on the property.
Negative: Didn’t get the room we signed up for. The unit we stayed needs an upgrade.

Positive: We've driven by this Lodge countless times and can't believe we've never stayed here. It was wonderful and we'll be back. We had "take-out" dinner sitting by the fireplace in the main room and breakfast in the dining room. The food was excellent, as was the service with a smile.
Negative: It's spendy but worth it.
Summary: Just what we were looking for.

Positive: incredible national park views, bed was comfy, free parking, lovely crowd
Negative: front desk wouldn’t check me in at 4pm, as they were too busy.. asked me to come back in 30 minutes… but I was next in line so I didn’t understand that. the exterior of building had leaves stuck between the banister and the walls so walking up the stairs to get to my room was tricky. the room was pleasant but no cups for the coffee maker. little things in comparison to the beauty of the place & the clientele.
Summary: incredible National park setting, I’ll be back
