Positive: The family who owned The Langdon was very friendly and welcoming.

Negative: I did wish I had a terrace. However I did book late. I enjoyed the 2nd floor porch.

Positive: Pleasant historic hotel situated right on the beach. The room was quite small but comfortable.

Negative: She shower was rather difficult to operate --not much control o=ver the heat of the water and difficult to turn off.

Positive: The Laingdon was perfect in every way for us! Right across from the beach with chairs and umbrellas for our use. Only a 5 minute walk to Asbury boardwalk and Ocean Grove Main Street. The staff is wonderful, the place is immaculate and the continental breakfast was great… muffins, yogurt and cereal with fresh brewed coffee! We loved this place and look forward to coming back soon.

Negative: The pillows were not as fluffy as mine from home

Positive: Very friendly proprietors. Fantastic on the ocean front. Ocean Grove is the town. There is no alcohol served so it’s very peaceful

Negative: Narrow staircase. But to be expected in an older Victorian hotel

Summary: For a beachfront property it can’t be beat.

Positive: Perfect location across the street from the beach, wonderful porch for relaxing and having a drink after the beach, small but comfortable room, big bathroom, nice family owned hotel
