Positive: Location was nice with a good view and easy walk into town. Surfing lessons on Lahinch Beach were a trip highlight for the family.

Negative: The nightly cost was much higher that other destinations we visited - so this may be more of a comment on Lahinch, and maybe its because Lahinch is considered a prime beach destination and it was the height of summer, but i think there are better value locations in ireland.

Summary: go to Bens Surf Shop for lessons right on the beach!

Positive: We loved the location with a short walk to town and to the beach. The town itself is wonderful with plenty of food options for all ages.

Negative: The common bathroom shower would not keep hot water. Some of us took a cold shower or turned it off and then waited awhile to turn it back on for hot water. It wouldn't last long.
