Positive: Stunning location, decor and beautiful pool. Kids had a blast in the pool, toy room and treehouse. The pot shower is also so much fun! A truly gorgeous and peaceful area.

Negative: The beds and bedding are very basic. Pillows definitely need upgrading. Not a proper king size bed, just singles pushed together.

Summary: Fantastic property - would 100% stay again.

Positive: The house is spacious and well designed. Awesome mountains views both from the garden and from the inside through huge windows. The garden offers a lot of hideouts to explore for kids, and our little ones were so excited to play there, that it was really hard to drag them out! Overall, this house has a huge potential, especially if you enjoy mountains and peaceful surroundings. Looks much better than in the pictures! The equipment was generous and almost everything we needed was there. It was nice that we could use things like olive oil, spices, dishwasher tablets - many houses don't provide these. The pretty town of Esporles is either 8 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk away (steep hill though) and offers several shops, bars and restaurants. Plenty to see and do within 30 minutes drive, including hikes, beaches, sightseeing.

Negative: Not really a dislike, but something to consider if you are travelling with kids - the house is located on a hill and there are several unsecured drops in the garden (you see them in some pictures). Some are up to 3m high. Our 6 and 9 year olds loved this, but smaller kids will need constant supervision in the garden. Now some things to improve: - shampoo / shower gel - at this price tag we would expect a much higher quality. What we got here was really bad, I think the cheapest one can possibly buy. Please get at least Rituals, etc. - most items in the house have Ikea logo on them... It's a bit of a contrast considering how beautiful the house is. - waste policy - guests are expected to deliver their waste to the local waste point, which is 15min drive and has not very convenient opening hours. Otherwise, there is a 120EUR fine deducted from your deposit. Really? No better way to solve this?? - expecting guest to remove the bed linen and count towels upon checkout is kind of weird at this price point - overall the cash deposit policy feels a bit outdated
