Summary: We had a great time at this nice but slightly outdated hotel. Needs renovations. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. There’s nothing nearby so recommend to get the breakfast/dinner package. Onsen was lovely. We stayed two nights to go up the mountain and do some hiking and it was perfect for that as it’s 10 min walk from the ropeway.

Summary: Our stay at La Vista Daisetsuzan was a highlight of our trip to Japan. We spent 3 nights here and throughout the whole trip, the staff were friendly and kind, the food - especially the French dinner and the breakfast - was DELICIOUS, and we loved the overall feel of the hotel. Would highly recommend staying here!
