Positive: A very charming chalet with a lot of space and pretty views. Bed was extremely large and comfortable, we had tea and coffee, plus complimentary Evian water of course :). Bathroom was also well equipped. The value for money was very good, given we visited offseason, in November.

Negative: The google maps pin indicates a location 400-500 meters away from the real location. Please fix this on Google Maps, especially for tourists arriving offseason in the dark (also our case). Additionally, the TV lacked any screen mirroring feature, which was important for us as we wanted to watch a movie from our laptop, but on the big screen. Lastly, few small things were not functioning in the bathroom, such as the button to switch from tap to shower cap in the bathtube - less important.

Positive: A beautiful hotel with charming rooms. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and a very handy shuttle service for getting into town. Would fully recommend staying at La Verniaz.

Positive: I like the grand terrace in our room. Beautiful view. Very nice restaurant. It used to be a high end restaurant but now it’s a bistro, but the cuisine is very good.

Summary: It was beautiful get away weekend in France.

Positive: The chalets and the gardens was lovely boheme and old style. Tennis court was nice extra! Garden games gave a big plus.

Negative: The one of the double beds of the cabin had a broken leg and the bed just felt down. Many things were a bit broken: toilet’s small flush, shower of the pool area, garden light etc. The decoration had a bit too worn outlook. Would be easy to fresh up. We did not get any advice or information for the chalet. The lock of the door of the chalet was tricky to lock. Restaurant: We did not get table in the restaurant for any evening. Glad we got table from Ermitage hotel even though they also said the restaurant is full.

Summary: The hotel itself had a nice vintage athmosphere.
