Positive: This albergue is quite new and located at the entrance into the town (a walk away from its center and shopping). The hospitaleros are very kind and meticulous, and ready to answer any pilgrim needs. I liked the laundry set up (hand wash station, dry racks, washer/dryer) and the large open dining area for communal food sharing. There was some nice outdoor seating in front of the albergue where one could watch other camino pilgrims walk past. There is a decent restaurant/bar directly across from it, and the lunch I had there was very good and inexpensive.

Negative: I had an attic room with 2 single beds. It worked for me, but it may be difficult for a tall individual, as the ceilings are slanted; I had to crouch down as I neared the bed with a limited clearance overhead (not ideal for folks with back and/or neck issues). It is also a shame that pilgrims are not allowed to use the kitchen and, therefore, have to buy the meals there or walk elsewhere. They did allow us to store a couple of fresh food items that we were taking on our journey the next day.

Positive: Our second stay. Our private room was large, light and airy with a great view of the Collegiata, castle and countryside and the husband and wife team could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately the cook was off but the nearby Bar Manzano does an excellent salad for vegetarians.
